About Me
Hi! I’m Scotty Lutz (he/him). Voice Over talent for hire with over 25 years experience acting and performing.
My philosophy on acting is that it’s not as complicated as people make it. I pride myself on being easy to work with. The goal is to do a job and do it well, and the director or client is the boss. I will strive to intuit what you want from me in the first place, and I will apply your direction and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
My natural speaking voice is a warm and friendly American male baritone/tenor. My voice carries strength and confidence, yet there can be a lightness about the way I sound that feels non-threatening and safe, neighborly and kind.
As a seasoned puppeteer, clown and character actor, I also deliver a variety of voice styles, characters and accents.
I grew up on stage and have received formal acting training since childhood including vocal lessons and voice work.
My home studio has an isolation booth for pristine, unpolluted recording. With a low noise floor, we can achieve whatever level of ambience you want (or don’t want). I can quickly record, edit and send an audition for consideration, or I can produce entire projects for clients myself.
